Theology: “Blessed are you, O Lord our God, king of the universe.  You have enriched our lives with every good and perfect gift; you have commanded us to show  you splendor to our children and to praise you with lives of love, justice and joy.”

This is the offering which you shall receive from the people, gold, silver, and bronze, blue and purple and scarlet cloth and finely woven linen.

The Mission of the Altar Guild

* To insure the reverent care of the Sanctuary- The Altar area including the flowers, Seasonal Altars clothes and Hangings, the Sacred Vessels, and Vestments of the Church.

* They are usually a group of 12 and take great care in making sure that all items needed for the celebration of the liturgy and of the various sacraments are clean, prepared and ready for use.

* They prayerfully prepare the Sanctuary for Worship.

* They order supplies needed for the Worship Service.

* They also do the Seasonal and occasional decoration of the Church.

* Two members are assigned altar duty each Sunday.

* The members of the Altar Guild meet as needed.

* Give full report on the activities of the committee to the monthly Vestry meeting and to the Annual meeting of the Parish.
