“Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God.  Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.”(1 John 4:7).

The Purpose and Mission of the Youth Group

* Provide religious, educational, social and leadership training to the Youth of the Church.

* Empower the young members to make a masterpiece of well being, living through the spirit and eyes of God.

* Help the members to see the importance of setting goals that will work for them in a positive manner and help them to see that once they achieve these goals,  it will be awesome.

* Coach them in leadership skills and expose them to opportunities to demonstrate leadership.  Help them understand the importance of their role in the Church.

* Help them to apply in their daily lives what they have learned in Church School.

* Help them plan social and community activities within the guidelines of the Church.

Priority Initiatives

1. Interface with Region II Youth activities/Programs. 

2.Interact with United Black Episcopalians Youth.
